Hey! Welcome to the revamped Renminbi website! (Many thanks to cashmusic.org for the major assist!)

Our new EP "Surface" will be available as a digital-only release on July 7. It will also be released on vinyl as a 45 RPM 12" in late August; pre-orders for the vinyl begin on July 7. "Surface" was produced & mixed by Don Fleming (Sonic Youth, Hole, Dinosaur Jr., The Posies, Teenage Fanclub) and recorded by Matt Azzarto (R. Stevie Moore, Peter Bjorn & John, Lykke Li) at Think Tank Studios in May 2009.

Our EP Release Party is on July 2 at Piano's (NYC) at 8pm. Free limited eiditon copies of the EP on CD will be available at the show on a first-come, first-served basis. For those of you outside of NYC, we're on tour from July 4-July 18, hitting cities in the Southeast and Midwest. Check out the TOURDATES page for details. We'll be doing another tour at the end of the summer, so stay tuned.
